Jade Novah is a singer, songwriter and actress who's career started off with what artists dream of. She worked with the music icon, Missy Elliott, for her album, "This is Not a Test", in 2003 by performing background vocals.
Jade is known on social media for her killer Beyoncé impersonation, but she is also the mastermind behind your favorite artist's songs. Under the songwriting duo, PenUp Dolls, she wrote for artists like Mýa, Melanie Fiona and Christina Milian. She also has been the background singer behind artists such as Rihanna, Tamar Braxton and Demi Lovato. But, a voice as captivating and smooth as hers is bound to break out for the world to hear.
While growing up, her parents were fans of rock and theater music which led to becoming two of her biggest influences. Her music inspirations also include 90's R&B artists such as Whitney Houston, Brandy and Tamia to name a few.
The 31-year-old began making covers on YouTube in 2012 and her cover of Rihanna's "Diamonds" went viral and garnered over 13 million views. Jade continues to post consistently and gives a range of popular songs of today to classic throwbacks.
Her talent has caught the attention of legends such as Stevie Wonder and recently by the musical genius, Todrick Hall. In his visual album, Forbidden, she was given the leading role and was perfect for it with the way she brightened up the screen and stole our hearts. From her acting to her voice like honey with overflowing emotion that inevitably makes feel-good music.
Jade is also the writer and vocals behind the hook of rapper Joyner Lucas' latest single, "Frozen".
I'm excited to hear more original music from Jade and she has told fans that an album is coming very soon!
